THE EXPERIENCE
SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 2026
Chicopee, Massachusetts
For one night only, the nationally touring hit comedy showcase Funny Women of a Certain Age ® comes to Western Mass.
Created and produced by Carole Montgomery, this groundbreaking series has appeared on Showtime three times and premiered as the network's highest-rated comedy special of the year.
Frustrated by how women are often portrayed — or sidelined — once they reach midlife, Montgomery built a national platform that puts experience front and center.
The women who appear in the showcase are accomplished, working comedians who helped pave the way for many of the female comics audiences see today. They are sharp, vibrant, and deeply funny. They just happen to be of a certain age.
The show is proof that perspective doesn’t fade. It deepens.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
MISSY HALL — Headliner
Missy Hall, the “Queen of Happy Things,” is a comedian, speaker, breast cancer survivor, and actress who uses happiness as a coping mechanism. Her comedy album Miss Representation made the Grammy entry list for funniest comedy album, her album Fifty Shades of Fifty has over a quarter million streams, and her latest recording Scoot Up is currently playing on Sirius XM. She performs with the national touring shows Funny Women of a Certain Age and Ladies of Laughter, and was named “Best of the Fest” at the 2019 Burbank Comedy Festival and a finalist in the 2018 Big Sky Comedy Festival. Bringing folks together through laughter is Missy’s favorite thing — well, favorite thing besides dogs, naps, and not wearing real pants.
VICKY KUPERMAN — Feature
Russian-born Vicky Kuperman has performed nationwide for over a decade and was named one of Huffington Post’s new comedians to watch. She’s been seen on Live From Gotham, Nickelodeon, and The Maxim Comedy Showcase, and is heard regularly on Sirius XM, where her comedy albums Love’s a Joke, When I Could Feel, All Good!, and Three’s Comedy are in regular rotation. Her book How to Spy on Your Neighbor was a top-10 hit in political humor on Amazon. Vicky just returned from a three-week military tour for Armed Forces Entertainment, performing on 15 bases across five countries in Europe — one of the greatest honors of her life. She’s the co-founder of the Love’s a Joke tour, in which America’s top comedy couples perform around the country. She founded it with her husband, but she does most of the work because she’s the woman.
CAROLE MONTGOMERY — Host & Creator
With over two dozen television credits to her name, Carole Montgomery is a respected veteran of the stand-up comedy scene nationwide. In her ten years as a Las Vegas headliner, it is estimated she has been seen by over five million audience members. Carole is also an accomplished director and producer — she directed Jim Florentine’s solo show I’m Your Savior, currently airing on Amazon Prime, and is developing a new solo show with activist and comedian Kaytlin Bailey called Whore’s Eye View. Carole has been a featured performer at the Montreal Just for Laughs, Boston, and New YorkComedy Festivals. Her Funny Women of a Certain Age Showtime special premiered as the network’s highest-rated comedy special premiere of the year.
